MASID is a real-time visualization tool that empowers communities and local government units (LGUs) to anticipate hazards more effectively by allowing them to make timely decisions that can save lives and mitigate damage in their communities. It is composed of Automated Rain Gauges (ARGs), Water Level Monitoring Systems (WLMS), and various combinations of Automated Weather Monitoring Systems.
Beyond domestic use, these PhilSensors have export potential, particularly to neighboring countries such as Indonesia and Vietnam, which face similar environmental challenges. Its affordability, modularity, and adaptability appeal to resource-constrained regions
